NASA scientist Dr Robin Corbet has claimed in a new paper that aliens have stopped trying to contact humans because they got "bored". In the paper, Corbet introduced the concept of "radical mundanity" to explain his idea. "The idea is...they're more advanced, but not much more...like having an iPhone 42 rather than an iPhone 17," he told The Guardian.
