India's overall unemployment rate among persons of age 15 years and above has declined for the second successive month to 5.1% in August 2025 from 5.6% recorded in June 2025. Meanwhile, the Worker Population Ratio among females has witnessed rise for two months in a row to 32% in August 2025 from 30.2% recorded in June 2025.
