After US imposed a $100,000 (₹88 lakh) fee for new applicants for H-1B visa, Indian Express reported that students with an F-1 visa in US won't be charged the $100,000 fee for the H-1B visa. Students without F-1 visa applying for the H-1B visa "are supposed to pay a $100,000 fee right away," US Immigration attorney Chand Parvathaneni said.
