Morocco became the first African nation to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a 5-0 win over Niger on Friday. Other qualified teams include Canada, Mexico, the USA, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, and Paraguay. Notably, Morocco reached the semifinals in 2022, the first African team to do so.
