Ex-cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar revealed he escaped a WhatsApp money scam. He tweeted, "Got WhatsApp message from...acquaintance asking for ₹25,000. Knew his number was hacked." He added, "So I replied, 'How do you want me to pay, Gpay ok? Promptly...a no. was sent asking me to send...screenshot after payment. I replied, 'Can I please pay...₹2.5 lakh?' No more messages after that."
