RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of withholding gender-wise voter turnout data of the Bihar Assembly elections. However, the ECI refuted the allegations, as reported by News18, "The overall gender ratio...is generally released at the time of the final turnout. It is not released phase-wise." The allegation was called "factually incorrect and misleading".
