Iranian pop singer Tataloo, who was convicted of blasphemy, has been handed the death sentence by a court there. The 37-year-old had been living in Turkey's Istanbul since 2018, but was handed over to Iran in 2023 and has been in detention ever since. He was earlier given 10-year jail term for allegedly promoting prostitution and publishing obscene content.
