NASA may be considering blowing up asteroid 2024 YR4 with nuclear bombs to save the Moon. The asteroid was discovered in December last year, creating panic that it had chance of hitting Earth in 2032. Subsequently, it was found the asteroid had chance of colliding with Moon's surface. If it crashes into moon, it would possibly lead to lunar "ejecta".
