A man named Rahul and a woman named Anjali got married at a police station in Gujarat's Surat after the groom's family decided to call off the wedding. Police said the couple had nearly completed their rituals when Rahul's family halted the ceremony over shortage of food. Anjali then approached the police, citing that Rahul was ready to marry her.
