Madagascar's interim president Colonel Michael Randrianirina, who came to power in a coup last month, has unveiled an around 300 kg emerald boulder found inside the presidential palace. "We discovered this national treasure upon entering the palace. We don't know why it was hidden here," he said. Calling it a "national asset", he added that it might be sold.
