At a rally in Bihar's Katihar, RJD leader and I.N.D.I.A. bloc's CM face Tejashwi Yadav vowed to "throw the Waqf (Amendment) Act into the dustbin" if elected in upcoming Assembly elections. He accused CM Nitish Kumar of aiding communal forces and labelled BJP the "Bharat Jalao Party." The amended act aims to improve management, efficiency and transparency of Waqf properties.
