Afghanistan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who is on a six-day visit to India, called India "close friend" and said India was the first responder during recent earthquake in Afghanistan. He also invited Indian firms to explore investment opportunities in Afghanistan's mining sector. India has upgraded Afghan mission to full embassy status amid Muttaqi's visit.
