Meghalaya's Akash Choudhary has smashed the fastest fifty in first-class cricket history. His fifty came off 11 balls during Meghalaya's first innings in their Ranji Trophy match against Arunachal Pradesh. He slammed eight sixes in a row, including six in one over. The previous fastest fifty was scored by Wayne White off 12 balls for Leicestershire against Essex in 2012.
