Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chief BR Naidu has reacted to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioning how non-Muslims can be on the Waqf Board if Muslims can't be trustees of TTD. "This statement is baseless...Waqf Board is a real estate company...How can he compare it with Tirumala?" Naidu said. Notably, Owaisi was criticising the Waqf amendment bill proposed by Centre.
