The Centre has flagged 31.01 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme in which both husband and wife were found receiving benefits together. In a drive conducted by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, 1.76 lakh additional cases were found in which minors or multiple members of the same household were receiving PM-Kisan benefits.
