Advocate Ujjwal Nikam, who has been nominated to Rajya Sabha by President Droupadi Murmu, recalled his conversation with PM Narendra Modi who informed him about the nomination. "PM asked if he should speak in Marathi or Hindi. We started laughing," said Nikam. This comes amid cousins Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray targeting BJP for trying to "impose" Hindi in Maharashtra.
