Earth's natural satellite Moon has been added to the list of threatened heritage sites by the World Monuments Fund (WMF). This has been done due to concerns over potential loot and damage during upcoming commercial trips. Earthquake-damaged sites like Antakya in Turkey and Noto peninsula in Japan have also featured on WMF's selection for this year.
