Russia has banned access to Snapchat over the platform's alleged use "to organise and carry out terrorist acts within the country, and to recruit perpetrators", state-run news agency RIA reported. This comes after the country banned Apple's FaceTime earlier in the day over similar allegations. Russia previously also restricted YouTube and WhatsApp.
