The Supreme Court on Monday stated storing or watching child pornography can be an offence under POCSO Act if the person concerned had intention to make some gain or advantage from the same. The apex court was hearing a plea challenging a Madras High Court ruling that said mere downloading and watching child pornography isn't an offence under POCSO Act.
