Actor Tom Cruise got an Honorary Oscar by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) on Sunday. "The cinema, it takes me around the world...it helps me to appreciate and respect differences...it shows me...how alike we are in so, so many ways," the actor said. Tom has previously been nominated four times for an Oscar.
