R Madhavan spoke about lack of residuals, paying actors when their work's re-shown beyond theatrical release, in Bollywood. He said, "If I was a Hollywood actor, two-three films – '3 Idiots', 'Rang De Basanti', 'Tanu Weds Manu', would be enough to feed rest of my generations." Residuals in Bollywood would allow actors to take risks while choosing films, he said.
