A mother and her son have been booked for allegedly selling an Indian Air Force (IAF) airstrip, used by India during the 1962, 1965 and 1971 wars, fraudulently in Punjab's Ferozepur. The duo had reportedly done so in connivance with some revenue officials in 1997. In May this year, the airstrip was restored to the Defence Ministry.
