Ex-England batter Geoffrey Boycott became the first player to score a hundred and 99 in the same Test match in 1974. Boycott recorded the feat playing against West Indies, when he followed his 99(340) in the first innings with a 385-ball 112. Boycott, who turns 84 today, scored 22 hundreds in his Test career.
