Silver prices surged by ₹6,000 to hit a fresh record of ₹1,63,000 per kg in Delhi on Thursday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The white metal had closed at ₹1,57,000 per kg on Wednesday. Meanwhile, gold of 99.9% remained unchanged at its all-time high levels of ₹1,26,600 per 10 grams.
