Congress leader Hyder Ali was killed by unknown assailants near Garuda Mall in Ashoknagar, Bengaluru, around 1 am on February 23. The incident occurred while Ali was returning home on a bike with a friend after attending an event on Saturday night (February 22). The attackers, following them on another bike, ambushed Ali, assaulted him and fled the scene.
