The man, who has been accused of killing Bengaluru woman Mahalakshmi and keeping her chopped body parts in a fridge, told his mother about the murder before he allegedly died by suicide. Muktirajan Ray's mother claimed that days before the crime, her son was threatened by a group of youths at the woman's behest.
