Elon Musk's father Errol dismissed the claims that his son grew up in poverty and said he went to school in a Rolls-Royce daily. Errol added that he became successful at the age of 26 and bought the house in which Musk grew up. In 2023, Musk said he "grew up in a lower, transitioning to upper, middle-income situation".
