The revised US citizenship test will have over 100 civics questions from mid-October, reintroducing the 2020 version, which was scrapped by ex-President Joe Biden's administration for being an "unnecessary hurdle". Applicants will be asked up to 20 oral questions and must answer 12 correctly to pass test. Among the new topics added are questions about American scientific and cultural innovations.
