ABVP reportedly burnt a Ravana effigy bearing the face of Umar Khalid inside the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus, as per Times Now. Umar Khalid, an ex-student activist, is an accused in the 2020 Delhi riots larger conspiracy case. He was booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and has been in jail without a trial ever since.
