The Ministry of Railways announced that every passenger coach will soon be equipped with four CCTV cameras, while locomotives will have six such monitoring units. The ministry said that cameras were installed on an experimental basis in locomotive engines and coaches of the Northern Railway, and the results were positive. "This move will significantly improve passenger safety," it said.
