A complete blackout has been declared in Haryana’s Ambala from 8 pm on Friday till 6 am on Saturday amid rising India-Pakistan tensions, authorities said. The use of any power backup for outdoor lighting is banned. Authorities instructed residents to cover doors and windows with thick curtains so as to ensure no light comes out.
