In an advisory for people to prevent antibiotic resistance, the Health Ministry stated the significance of red line seen on some medicine strips. Medicines such as antibiotics have a red vertical line on their packs to indicate that these shouldn't be consumed without doctor's prescription, the ministry stated. The prescribed medicine's full course should also be completed, it added.
