Mukti Ranjan Roy, accused of killing and chopping Bengaluru woman Mahalakshmi's body into pieces and storing them in a fridge, sat beside her dead body through the night, News18 reported citing police officials. Police suspect that this was the time when he planned of ways to dispose Mahalakshmi's body. Mukti reportedly watched videos on how to dispose the body.
