While denying bail to ex-RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh and suspended police officer Abhijit Mondal, a special CBI court said that charges against them were "grave". The court added they might be considered "rarest of rare" and can lead to "capital punishment". They both are accused in connection with the rape and murder of a 31-year-old RG Kar Hospital doctor.
