At least six people were killed after the cable of a cargo ropeway snapped at the Pavagadh Hill temple in Gujarat's Panchmahal district on Saturday, police said. The deceased included two lift operators, two labourers, and two other individuals, News18 reported, adding that the ropeway was being used to transport construction material. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
