Ganesh Visarjan festivities in Maharashtra's Vasai-Virar nearly turned into a tragedy after a shocking video surfaced from Chikhal Dongri creek showing a man being dragged away by strong water currents. Shockingly, his companion was standing right beside him, but chose to hold the Ganpati idol safely rather than rushing to his aide's rescue. The man was later rescued by locals.
