Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal once again cautioned Indian nationals against joining the Russian army. "One should stay away from offers being made to serve in the Russian army because it's an offer that's fraught with danger to life," said Jaiswal. He added that 44 Indian nationals are presently serving in the Russian army.
