Anupam Kher recalled battling typhoid while filming '1942: A Love Story', saying director Vidhu Vinod Chopra refused to grant him leave. “He said, ‘It’s fine, you will be fine while shooting. No holiday,’” Kher shared. He added that despite the incident, working with Chopra was a joy, calling him “a truly great director.”
