There will be no leader of opposition in Maharashtra Assembly for the first time in 60 years, The Times of India reported. A leader of opposition is nominated if the party has 10% of elected members in the 288-member Assembly, Maharashtra ex-Principal Secretary (legislature) Anant Kalse said. Largest opposition party Shiv Sena UBT won 20 seats or 6.9% of total.
