The newly appointed chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) BR Naidu said, "Everyone who works at Tirumala should be a Hindu. That would be my first effort." Referring to staff of other faiths already working in the temple, Naidu said he'd discuss it with the Andhra government and would consider the possibility of granting them a VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme).
