Adani Group unit Ambuja Cement is in talks to acquire Star Cement, Moneycontrol reported. The group has appointed consultancy firm EY for evaluating the deal whose details are yet to be known, the report added. Star Cement is the largest cement manufacturer in the North East. This comes after Ambuja acquired majority stake in Orient Cement and other rivals.
