NSA Ajit Doval, while speaking on National Unity Day, said regime changes in neighbouring countries, including Nepal and Bangladesh, were a result of bad governance. "I believe governance plays a seminal role in the nation-building process, as well as in securing a nation," he said, adding that "it's indeed very befitting that in 2025, we should be reinventing Sardar Patel".
