After BJP shared video of West Bengal police forcefully putting Goddess Kali idol into van, police defended their action, saying it was to save dignity of goddess. "There was road blockade...and several ambulances were stuck...When we requested them to clear...they pelted stones," police said. They added that, with no other option, we put idol into van as traffic blocked road.
