Punjab Police have suspended IPS officer and DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, who was arrested after his aide was caught red-handed accepting an ₹8 lakh bribe for him. Bhullar is under judicial custody along with his aide. Over ₹5 crore cash, 2.5 kg of gold jewellery, among other things, were seized during CBI raids at locations linked to Bhullar.
