Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, who passed away on Friday, had opposed the Emergency imposed during the tenure of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, following which his films 'Shor' and 'Dus Numbri' were banned. He later filed a case against the laws imposed by the government during Emergency and won it. He even declined offer to make a film on Emergency.
