A 32-year-old female passenger sustained burn injuries in the fire that broke out in the coaches of the Amritsar–Saharsa Garib Rath Express train on Saturday morning. She was rushed to Civil Hospital in Fatehgarh Sahib for medical attention. Three coaches were gutted in the blaze, following which passengers were evacuated safely. The incident occurred near the Sirhind junction in Punjab.
