Senior lawyer Kapil Sibal during the hearing into the rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar College and Hospital said female lawyers were getting rape and acid attack threats. The CJI DY Chandrachud-led bench assured Sibal it would step in if there were any threats to lawyers. Notably, Sibal's request to stop live-streaming of proceedings was denied.
