Karnataka's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has clarified that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's claims of attempted voter deletion in Aland constituency were known to Election Commission and an FIR was filed over it in 2023. The CEO said only 24 out of 6,018 deletion applications filed back then were found as genuine and all available information was given to the police.
