CM Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) has fielded Muslim candidates in four seats for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. JD(U) candidate Mohd Zama Khan has been fielded from Chainpur, Saba Zafar from Amour, Manzar Alam from Jokihat, and Shagufta Azim from Araria. Notably, the party reportedly fielded 11 Muslim candidates in the 2020 elections. Meanwhile, the BJP hasn't fielded any Muslim candidate.
