Salesforce said it’s saving around $100 million/year by using AI tools in its customer service operations. It has started using AI tools to automate tasks, previously handled by human customer service agents, including answering queries, resolving basic problems, and assisting in early sales stages. CEO Marc Benioff said AI can respond faster, handle more queries, and doesn't require breaks.
